Elliot Page once spoke about a behind-the-scenes twist whilst filming the cult classic Juno.
Juno thrusted Page into stardom when he starred in the film back in 2007.
The movie, which has a near perfect Rotten Tomatoes score of 94 percent, features Page's titular character becoming pregnant as a teenager, and deciding to put the baby up for adoption.
The actor, who has also starred in Umbrella Academy and the X-Men films from the 2000s, wrote a memoir about his life last year, titled Pageboy.

Within it, Page opened up about an off-screen romance that he shared with one of his co-stars.
"I was taken aback the moment I saw Olivia Thirlby. She seemed so much older, capable, and centered," Elliot wrote, despite them being the same age.
“Sexually open, far removed from where I was at the time. But the chemistry was palpable, it pulled me in."
Thirlby starred in the film as Leah, Juno's friend, who shares several scene with Page's character.

This apparently extended beyond the screen, as he wrote they spent a great deal of time together.
They described how Thirlby 'looked directly at me and said point-blank: "I’m really attracted to you"'.
"At that we started sucking face,” he writes in Pageboy. “It was on. I had an all-encompassing desire for her, she made me want in a way that was new, hopeful. It was one of the first times someone would make me c*m, the first time I would open up."

Elliot said they would have sex 'all the time', and even in creative places.
“Her hotel room, in our trailers at work, once in a tiny, private room in a restaurant," he said. "We thought we were being subtle.
"Being intimate with Olivia helped my shame dissipate. I didn’t see a glint of it in her eyes and I wanted that — done feeling wretched about who I am."
UNILAD has contacted Thirlby's management for comment.

Elsewhere in the memoir, Page opened up about having a relationship with Kate Mara, who was with The Social Network star Max Minghella when Page caught feelings.
The relationship came to be in 2014 when Page was busy filming the 2014 superhero movie X-Men: Days of Future Past.
“The first person I fell for after my heart was broken was Kate Mara,” Page writes in his book per PEOPLE.
“She had a boyfriend at the time, the lovely and talented Max Minghella."

It is unclear whether there was any crossover between Mara’s relationship with Minghella and Page, however, the Umbrella Academy star said Mara told him: “I never thought I could be in love with two people and now I know I can.”
