A biography about Elon Musk claims the tech billionaire's family hated Amber Heard 'with a passion'.
Walter Isaacson’s biography of the X CEO, simply titled ‘Elon Musk’, has aired some claims about his relationship with the actor.
Musk, 52, and Heard, 37, went official as a couple in April 2017 before dating on and off. Relatively short-lived, they called it a day on their relationship for good in 2018.

The Aquaman actor began dating the SpaceX founder after going through her divorce from Johnny Depp – a relationship which went on to dominate headlines in recent years.
The Los Angeles Times obtained a copy of the biography and days Isaacson wrote Heard ‘drew [Musk] into a dark vortex’ that year and it ‘lasted more than a year and produced a deep-seated pain that lingers to this day’.
The biographer also added that Musk’s ‘brother and friends hated her with a passion’, slamming the relationship as a ‘hellacious’ period for the mogul.

Isaacson writes of a huge argument the pair had in December 2017 during a trip with the Tesla bosses’ family to South America.
Heard reportedly confirmed to him that this did occur but also showed photos and clips from the evening, including a loved-up New Year’s Eve kiss – suggesting they made up.
Kimbal Musk was there on the night and is said to have told Isaacson he finds it ‘really sad’ his brother ‘falls in love with these people who are really mean to him’.
He added: “They’re beautiful, no question, but they have a very dark side and Elon knows that they’re toxic.”

Apparently, Musk even admitted to the biographer the pair’s relationship ‘was brutal’.
And Heard said while she still loves him ‘very much’, he ‘loves fire, and sometimes it burns him’.
His chief of staff, Sam Teller, even said of the actor: “She was like The Joker in Batman… She thrives on destabilizing everything.

“She and Musk would stay up all night fighting and then he would not be able to get up until the afternoon.”
Isaacson asked the Twitter name-changer why he falls for these ‘types’ of women and Musk is said to have laughed as he replied: “Because I’m just a fool for love.
"I am often a fool, but especially for love.”
In the book, the author writes that the mogul was ‘not bred for domestic tranquility’ and that 'most of his relationships involve psychological turmoil'.

Musk has also dated Justine Wilson, Talulah Riley, Grimes and Shivon Zilis. He is a dad to 11 children with three of the women.
