Elon Musk has finally broken his out-of-character disappearance on Twitter after nine days of radio silence.
The billionaire, who is very well known for his antics on the social media platform, has finally reappeared after nine days of 'being missing', and what he returned with was rather unexpected.
Earlier today (2 July), Musk broke his silence by tweeting a tribute to a YouTuber who recently died following a battle with cancer, stating: "Popular Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade with 12 Billion subscribers recently passed away at the age of 23 due to cancer, and this made [me] realize that cancer is [an] absurd piece of literal garbage and death, but also try to live your best life with people who know.

"They could die the following day, and you would regret not doing things with them."
He then tweeted: "Feeling … perhaps … a little bored?" before going on to suggest he's in Italy, posting an old photo of him and his ex-wife Talulah Riley in Venice.
Well, the Tesla CEO then pretty much confirmed he's in Italy by tweeting a photo of himself with four of his seven children... and the Pope.

"Honored to meet @Pontifex yesterday," Musk tweeted, showing him and his sons standing alongside Pope Francis.
While it is currently unknown why Musk was visiting Pope Francis with some of his children, it's certainly a huge comeback to make after over a week of unusual silence on Twitter.
Musk's last tweet was on 21 June, which was a reply to a post about the fight between SpaceX and FCC over the former’s space internet programme, Starlink. But ever since then, without an explanation, the richest man in the world seemingly decided to take a break from the platform - which he's still trying to buy for $44 billion.

While it's not uncommon at all for people to take hiatuses from social media, Musk is one of Twitter's most high-profile and outspoken users, so it certainly came as a surprise to many of his 100 million followers.
This comes after the Los Angeles County Superior Court gave Musk's daughter the green light to change her name from Xavier Alexander Musk to Vivian Jenna Wilson in order to represent her gender transition and identity.
However, according to court findings obtained by TMZ, Wilson listed the reason for her name change as: "Gender Identity and the fact that I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form."

This suggests there's been a rift between herself and her famous father, while neither have yet confirmed this publicly.
A new birth certificate reflecting her new name and gender change will be issued shortly by the state registrar.
