It’s always a bummer to be reminded that people on the internet still insist on policing women’s bodies, despite the fact we’re living in the year 2022, but here we are.
If you’re looking to give your eyeballs a little exercise by rolling them into the back of your head, look no further than one of Emily Ratajkowski’s recent Instagram posts.
People are fuming that she shared a photo of herself enjoying a bath with her one-year-old son Sylvester, with many calling the model ‘weird’.
Sharing three images of herself and Sylvester splashing around, Ratajkowski captioned the snap: “Love of my life.”

The mum-of-one drew a heart over her baby’s bottom and covered her chest with her arms, but regardless, people weren’t happy.
One person wrote: “This is not okay. I don’t care how pretty you are,” while another added: “I wouldn't post a naked baby pic. Just post yourself, adult and stunning enough to get lots of likes.”
“Huh why are u naked with your son? Really weird,” said another, with a third echoing: “Why on earth taking pictures with your naked son... What do you do just for ‘likes’ and attention?”
“Omg another naked photo shoot honestly tell me you’re dying for attention without telling me you’re dying for attention,” grumbled someone else.

Thankfully, not everyone on the internet thinks ‘outrage’ is an OK response to photos of a mum sharing sweet moments with her baby, with one person writing: “It’s so beautiful, mother and son,” beneath the post.
“So gorgeous and sweet,” said another Instagrammer.
But the comment of the day has to go to the social media user who wrote: “Beautiful moments captured. Human body is powerful. I see some people sexualizing Emily – and those people are sick in the head.

“This is her in a position of [being a] nurturing mother, playing with her baby. Nothing sexual here. People who think otherwise, should get therapy.”
They added: “About her child, same, there is nothing weird about a little baby in its natural form. Only people who see an issue with this are pedos and brain-dead perverts.”
Many of the model’s famous friends also shared their support, with Tan France writing: “Love this so much,” and Elsa Hosk leaving a heart emoji beneath the photos.
Irina Shayk also posted a string of pink hearts, while singer Heir said: “The most beautiful post.”
