Eminem might be one of the music world's most successful artists, but believe it or not, there was a time when he was being booed off stage.
Now, footage of the less successful time in Slim Shady's life has been reposted to YouTube, and fans can not believe what they are seeing from the rapper.
In the clip from 1992, Eminem can be seen rapping his heart out as he performs 'What Colour is Soul', but the crowd is having none of it.

As he performs, some members of the audience begin to boo, and it's not long before he has no option but to stop reacting and walk away, defeated.
Reacting to the footage, one inspired viewer wrote that it was 'living proof that to become successful in the life you have to learn from your failure.'
They added: "if you scared to fail you can not become successful without trying and trying and trying until you succeed this guy had an idea he had a dream and he did realised it he is not a quitter he did not quit after his first failure he worked hard! [sic]"
A second viewer, meanwhile, wrote: "I can't believe I'm actually seeing this. I've heard about this moment for as long as I been a Stan. He's always talked about it. Seeing it literally make made my heart hurt for him."

"Thank god he kept trying," wrote a third viewer. He was 19 to 20 years old in this footage. Im 21 now, i imagine myself in this situation. He was already more brave than most people [sic]."
In case your memory needs refreshing, it wasn't until Eminem developed Slim Shady in the late nineties that he rose in popularity and eventually to global stardom.
However, even after the rapper found fame, his life was far from plain sailing and on Saturday (5 November), he spoke candidly about his drug addiction that very nearly claimed his life.

He made this revelation as his success was further cemented as he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Los Angeles.
Eminem, after telling his daughter, Hailie, 26, to cover her ears, said: "I realise what an honour it is right now to be here up here tonight, and what a privilege it is to do the music that I love.
"Music basically saved my life… I'll keep this as painless as possible, I'm f****** stuttering and s***. I'm probably not supposed to actually be here tonight because of a couple of reasons.
"I almost died from an overdose in 2007, which kind of sucked. Hailie, plug your ears. Because drugs were f****** delicious. I thought we had a good thing going on, but I had to go and f*** it all up – goddamn."

He then addressed the struggle he had when breaking through as an artist and said: "I had to really fight my way through man to try and breakthrough in this music, and I'm so honoured and I'm so grateful that I'm even able to be up here doing hip-hip music, man, because I love it so much."
So if you're ever feeling like you're not quite succeeding in life, you might want to give that video from Eminem's early years another watch.
