Fans believe Reese Witherspoon looks exactly like her daughter Ava Phillippe after a trending Instagram photo.
The 23-year-old has left fans shook after she posted a stunning snap to social media fashioning an Arie bright blue swimsuit while lying by the poolside.
Ava, who is the child of Reese and actor Ryan Phillippe, captioned the post: “Soaking up the second half of Summer with @aerie.”

However, many said they had to do a double take, initially thinking it was her Academy Award-winning mum instead.
One person wrote: “Your Mama's twin."
Another said: “Looks like Legally Blonde moment from the Harvard application video.”

A third comment: “Holy just wow you're your mother's twin! Even more beautiful. I know she's so proud.”
Another shared: “You cannot deny you and your mum aren’t twins.”
Last year, while Reese was promoting her new children’s book, Busy Betty, on Today With Jenna & Hoda, she was asked about her own three kids, to which Jenna Bush Hager noted that the mother and her daughter look like ‘twins’.

While Reese admitted there was a resemblance, she didn’t entirely agree.
“Oh, you think so,” The Morning Show star replied. “Do you see it? She and I don’t see it that much.”
Oh, come on, Elle Woods, it’s time to put on those fancy Harvard glasses and conduct a side-by-side.
During a 2017 interview with Vanity Fair, the actor again touched on the subject after Ava joined her on the red carpet for a Pretty Big Lies premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

“I do see the resemblance. She’s a beautiful person inside and out. She’s just a good soul,” she told the outlet.
“I’m not sure what she thinks. I’m just ‘Mom’ to her. We’re happy to share this wonderful experience. I really have a rich, personal relationship with my daughter. I have a really great career, and it’s nice to be able to share it with my kids."
Elsewhere in the interview, when asked if Ava would follow in her famous parent’s footsteps, Reese replied: “She’s still in school so she has a lot of time to think about what she wants to do.
“I want for her whatever she wants for herself.”
