F1 driver Fernando Alonso has suddenly found himself rumoured to be dating Taylor Swift and he's responded in the best possible way.
The singer has been facing speculation that she recently split from long-term partner Joe Alwyn, with the couple said to have 'gone their separate ways'.
A number of her songs are said to be abut Alwyn, namely 'Reputation', 'Lover', 'Folklore', 'Evermore' and 'Midnights'.

Meanwhile, fans have spotted that at some performances she's switched out 'Invisible String', a song about two soulmates, for 'The 1' which is a break-up ballad about a relationship that didn't quite work out.
Swift is currently out and about on her Eras Tour but that's not stopped fans from asking her about her relationship status mid-performance, nor from her being romantically linked with others.
Recent rumours have put her with a surprising partner - Spanish F1 driver Fernando Alonso - and now he's taken to TikTok to post a video addressing the rumours.

The F1 star was filmed sitting in a chair checking his phone before briefly looking up and winking at the camera before turning his gaze back down to his phone.
That's it, just a man sitting in a chair winking at a camera... or is it?
His post was captioned 'race week era', which some fans reckon is a reference to Swift's tour name, while pretty much everyone is sure Alonso's knowing wink is a reference to the rumours about him and Swift.
Does it mean the rumours are true or that he knows they're going around and isn't going to say a word?

Nobody but Alonso really knows but he seems to be having plenty of fun relaxing while the relationship rumours swirl around.
Naturally the post sent people wild with confusion, they want answers and Alonso has just coyly winked at them instead.
One person simply wrote 'Taylor Swift' in response to the F1 driver's video, while another lost their mind at the prospect that 'THE TAYLOR SWIFT RUMOURS MIGHT BE TRUE'.

The official F1 TikTok account 'never did we think in our Wildest Dreams this would happen', a reference to another song from Taylor Swift which led people to realise that there were more Swifties out there than first thought.
Someone else said Alonso 'knows all too well what he's doing' while plenty more appreciated the man's dedication to letting the chaos continue to stir.
Several fans simply asked the F1 driver if he'd 'like to tell the class something' and accused him of stirring the pot on purpose.
