Chef Gordon Ramsay has taken to Instagram to share exciting news of a Valentine's Day tribute to the NHS at one of his restaurants.
The Hell's Kitchen host has decided to rethink Valentine's Day this year; rather than spending it with his significant other, he's reaching out to NHS workers.
Valentine's Day shouldn't be the only day you shower your partner with love and affection; so instead, what better than to dedicate the day to the NHS, who are owed a hell of a lot of gratitude and more than just a few rounds of clapping.
While addressing followers from his latest endeavour, Restaurant 1890 located in the Savoy hotel, Ramsay explained that February 14 'is the most difficult night in any restaurant across Britain to get into'.

So, the celebrity chef said he was going to 'do something completely different' and 'dedicate the night to the NHS'.
Subsequently, Ramsay revealed he is picking '12 amazing NHS workers and their guest to exclusively preview' the restaurant, which is set to officially open on Wednesday, February 23.
Calling on all UK followers, the caption reveals NHS workers can 'apply or nominate someone' of their choosing, adding 'a big thank you again to the NHS for everything you do Gx'.

According to its website, the new Savoy restaurant is 'inspired by dishes first created by Georges Auguste Escoffier during his time at The Savoy Hotel in 1890'.
NHS workers will be presented with a 'modern French tasting menu with European influence. With the finest ingredients sourced from all corners of the world and a carefully curated wine list to match'.
The restaurant is small, and only made up of 12 tables of two, which Ramsay wants to utilise all for NHS workers to 'say thank you for everything [they've] done over the last two years'.
The announcement post has amassed hundreds of comments in praise of the chef's idea. 'Amazing cause!' on wrote,
