Gwen Stefani's son Kingston earned himself cheers and applause when he made his live singing debut at his stepdad Blake Shelton’s restaurant in Oklahoma.
With a mom who's one of the biggest pop stars out there, a dad who was a lead singer and guitarist of a rock band, and a stepdad who is not only a country music star, but who also spent more than a decade seeking out new acts on The Voice, it's hardly a surprise that Kingston has some musical talent.
The 17-year-old, who Stefani shares with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, finally showed off his talents live to the world on Friday (11 August), when he made his way on to the stage at the Ole Red restaurant and bar, which is owned by his stepdad, Blake Shelton.

Shelton introduced his stepson to the crowd, saying: "I’m very excited and I’m actually honored to be the first one to introduce this guy to the stage for the very first time ever. This guy’s an artist. He’s the real deal and you guys are going to be able to say you were there at his very first ever public performance.
"His music is rock so I bet we got some rock fans out here. He's only 17 years old, everybody. Here he is, Mr. Kingston Rossdale, everybody!"
Following Shelton's introduction, Kingston took his place on the stage and began performing a slow rock song, singing along to the sounds of a keyboard and an acoustic guitar before taking on a guitar to play himself.

The teen played up to the crowd, encouraging them to keep cheering and clapping along with them as they celebrated.
Afterwards, Shelton gave Kingston a hug for completing his first live set before he and Stefani took to the stage to perform together, turning the event into a true family affair.
The performance came after Shelton decided to leave The Voice in May after 23 seasons.
The singing show is where Stefani first met Shelton in 2014, when they both worked as judges on the show, and after her split with Rossdale in 2015 Stefani and Shelton went on to marry in 2021.

As well as Kingston, Stefani is also mom to Zuma, 14, and Apollo, 9, both of who she shares with Rossdale.
Last year, Shelton told the 2022 Country Radio Seminar he has 'fallen in love with the boys as much as [he has] Gwen'.
