Heidi Klum has faced significant backlash for posing in a lingerie advert with her daughter.
The model is right in the eye of the storm after lingerie company Intimissimi posted their campaign with Klum and her 18-year-old daughter, Leni.
The pictures raised a few eyebrows, to say the least.

One user said of the campaign: “This shit is weird as f**k and it’s so sad that even big brands can’t come up with good ad ideas and use these kinds of cheap and awkward stuff. No hate to Heidi or the kid, but she looks insanely young, and it’s not a good taste.”
Another wrote: “Does her mom even know what she is doing to a young girl having every boy she knows and men see her dressed like that? Is there no modesty, no shame?”
A third commented: “Super creepy, heavily photoshopped. We could care less about the money you waste getting celebrities to pose in undies WITH THEIR CHILDREN when you could just use normal beautiful women.”

However, some defended the images, as one person wrote: “Just what every woman should aspire to, omg.”
While another marveled: “Heidi is a class act and still very beautiful.”
Last year, the two received similar backlash when they posed in their undergarments for yet another Intimissimi campaign.
Clearly, they don’t mind the negative press, so long as people are talking.

In the advert, the two modeled black and white lingerie, each wearing a bra, underwear and a pair of heels.
One user commented: “Yikes! There is nothing okay with a mother being in lingerie in front of her daughter and vice versa. Next, she will be reviewing/approving her sex tape like the Kardashians. So gross.”
Another said: “Nope. Weird. Grotesque. Mum and daughter posing together in underwear. Dislike.”
However, one user came out swinging against critics, writing: “Okay, people need to chill dafuq out. The lingerie is not risque and looks like modern-day bathing suits.”

Leni launched her modelling career at age 16.
In 2021, she appeared on the cover of Vogue Germany for the January/February issue alongside her famous mother.
In an interview with the outlet, she told journalist Esma Annemon Dil that she had wanted to model in her preteens; however, her mom forbade it.
“It was only a matter of time before I would try to become a model myself," she said.

"The first offer came when I was only 12 or 13 from a brand I liked to wear: Brandy Melville. At that time I begged my mother, but no chance. Now I understand that it would have been too early."
