Howard Stern compared Will Smith to Donald Trump after he slapped Chris Rock at the 94th Oscars.
Last night Smith slapped Rock after the comedian made an insensitive joke about his wife.
Following the incident, Smith and Rock were said to have patched things up, but that hasn't stopped people from weighing in on the situation.

Now Stern has shared his thoughts on the incident, during an episode of The Howard Stern Show today, 28 March.
During the show, Stern said: "Opened hand with a lot of force, smacks him right in the mouth on TV. Now the first thing I said to myself was, ‘What the f**k is going on, is this a bit?’ Because where is security?"
"This is a live television event. Not one person came out, because he’s Will Smith", Stern continued to say, as per UpRoxx.

And this is where the strange comparison between Smith and the controversial former president comes in.
"This is how Trump gets away with sh*t. Will Smith and Trump are the same guy. He decided he’s going to take matters into his own hands. At a time when the world is at war. Bad timing, man. Calm your f***ing a** down."
Co-host of the show Robin Quivers then notes that the slap is 'where we are as human beings'.

Stern then proceeds to suggest that had Aquaman star Jason Momoa be presenting the award, might would have remained seated and might have said "Thank you for acknowledging my wife, Mr. Momoa."
While Stern's view on the situation is clear, many are struggling to agree.
With Tiffany Haddish coming out in support of Smith who she says is just protecting his wife.
The Girls Trip star noted: "As a woman, who has been unprotected, for someone to say, 'Keep my wife's name out your mouth, leave my wife alone', that's what your husband is supposed to do, right? Protect you."

Haddish has long been friends with Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.
Pinkett Smith was the target of Rock's joke last night as he presented the award for Best Documentary.
While making the joke, Rock explained that he couldn't wait to see Pinkett Smith in the new G.I Jane movie, in which Demi Moore's character is famously bald.
