When it comes to butchering people's names, John Travolta made one hell of a doozy.
The Pulp Fiction actor mispronounced Idina Menzel's name at the 2014 Oscars - but the Frozen star was able to get even with him the following year.
You can see that here:
Travolta was on stage to introduce Menzel, who was going to sing 'Let It Go', the iconic song from Frozen that had become her signature song.

Although she was riding high, her name apparently hadn't resonated with the veteran actor, who butchered both her first name and last name, and called her 'Adele Dazeem'.
How he ended up there is anybody's guess.
Anyhow, when the Oscars rolled around in 2015, Menzel was ready to get her own back.

Standing before a crowd of A-list celebrities, the Broadway superstar said: "Please welcome to the stage, my very dear friend Glom Gazingo."
And Travolta took the jibe in good humour, as he joined her on stage.
Admittedly, things were still a bit awkward as he teased her: "I deserve that. But you, you, my darling. My beautiful, my wickedly talented Idina Menzel."
Travolta then turned to the audience and quipped: "Is that right?"

Whilst the audience broke into applause, Menzel playfully clapped and replied: "You got it!"
Better late than never, I suppose.
And viewers were left a little baffled by the bit.

One wrote: "Just when the world thought Oscar moments could not be more uncomfortable, Glom Gazingo came to rescue."
And someone else said: "Her seriousness introducing Glom Gazingo is amazing."
While another quipped: "Revenge is a dish best served frozen."
Well played.

However, Menzel has never taken the mispronunciation personally and even said the error was one of the 'best things that happened'.
Reflecting on the awkward moment, she said in an interview with Willie Geist: "It ended up being one of the best things that happened for my career because all the people that had no idea who I was were like ... 'Who is this girl?'"
Initially, she was upset that her name had been pronounced incorrectly, but quickly got herself into a different head space as she was due to perform.
Menzel recalled: "I had eight seconds to say to myself, at first I felt really sorry for myself, like, 'Meryl Streep's out there. This is my big break and he just f— up my name'.
"And then eight seconds, the band starts, I am like, 'Get your s— together. C'mon, this is your moment. Stop worrying about that he messed up your name. Sing, b—!'"
I guess you could say she...let it go.
