Jada Pinkett Smith has broken her silence after her husband Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards.
Smith took to the stage twice during the Oscars, once to slap Rock for making an insensitive joke about his wife, and again to collect his award for Best Actor.
After the celebrities, event organisers and Smith have responded to the incident, Pinkett Smith has now shared a post on Instagram.

The post reads: "This is the season for healing and I'm here for it."
It is the first time that Pinkett Smith has spoken out about the incident, with her husband apologising on social media earlier today.
Also taking to Instagram, Smith noted how his behaviour at the 94th Academy Awards was 'unacceptable and inexcusable'.
The King Richard actor also publicly apologised to Rock and said: "I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness."
Smith also proceeded to apologise to the Academy, producers, attendees and everyone watching.

The film academy noted in a statement yesterday, 29 March, that it has 'officially started a formal review around the incident and will explore further action and consequences in accordance with our Bylaws, Standards of Conduct and California law'.
While the organisers are conducting a review of the incident, Rock did not file a police report, according to the LAPD.
Diddy also noted that Smith and Rock patched things up following the ceremony, saying: ""That's not a problem. That's over. I can confirm that. It's all love. They're brothers."
The incident, which saw reactions from celebrities including Tiffany Haddish and Howard Stern, started after Rock made a joke at Pinkett Smith's expense.

The joke involved Rock saying that he was excited to see Pinkett Smith in the new G.I Jane movie.
G.I Jane is a 1997 film that notably features Demi Moore with a shaved head.
In 2018, Pinkett Smith opened up about her diagnosis of alopecia, an autoimmune condition that causes hair loss.
Following the joke, Smith took to the stage, slapped Rock and returned to his seat.

He could then be heard shouting "Keep my wife's name out of your f******g mouth", with Rock continuing his presenting duties following the incident.
