Parenthood is something that people tend to do sooner rather than later, but not Jeff Goldblum, who is a dad to two young children at the age of 70.
The Jurassic Park actor is 30 years older than his wife, Emilie Livingston, 39, with whom he has two children, Charlie, seven and River, five.
Now, the actor has opened up about doing a job that most people find themselves in when they are half his age - if not younger.

Goldblum make the revelation when asked what it's like being a dad to young children at 70, and he described the whole thing as 'fun'.
He told Today: "It's amazing, it’s revivifying, and makes my relationship with Emilie, frankly, enhanced."
Goldblum went on to explain how parenthood only increased the level of attraction he felt towards his wife, who is a retired gymnast.

"Seeing [my wife] in this new role is unbelievable. She's heroic beyond imagination," he said.
As any parent knows, having children can be a difficult job too, and this is something that the actor did not shy away from admitting.
"And it's challenging and it's sometimes maddening and very volatile. As you know, at 3 and 5, 5 and 7 they can be like feral creatures unleashed. Oh yeah, and sweet and amazing. It's great," he said.
The actor's revelations about parenting come after he opened up about his own childhood and how his parents encouraged him to chase his dreams.

He said of his love of acting: "I was obsessed by it."
Goldblum then went on to reveal that he had his parents' support from the get-go, which was long before acting became a viable career option for him.
"They were okay with it and supported it, and then before long I started to get jobs and make a living at it," he said.
In another interview with the Radio Times, the actor said that he thought he was never going to be a dad until he met his wife.

"I never thought that I was going to do it," he said. "I had never been particularly passionate [about fatherhood] or envisioned it for myself."
While the actor said he was aware that he'd be judged for being an older dad, he said it feels like it's happened 'right on schedule'.
"It's not that it doesn't occur to me," the actor added of not being around as long for his children. "I would not want to say goodbye to them prematurely."
