Jennifer Coolidge is going to have an honor bestowed upon her that only six other people in history have ever received.
That's right, folks. Stifler's Mom is going to be recognised for her incredible funny bone by way of the 'Comedic Genius Award' during the MTV Movie & TV Awards next month.
So, the day after the coronation of King Charles III, our comedic Queen will get her own crown.

Coolidge will become the sixth person to receive the iconic prize.
Other hilarious celebrities who have also been awarded the coveted MTV crown include Jack Black, Sacha Baron Cohen, Melissa McCarthy, Kevin Hart, and Will Ferrell.
In the words of Cohen's much-loved character, Borat: "Very nice. I like."
Coolidge recaptured our hearts as iconic wealthy woman Tanya McQuoid in The White Lotus, who seemed to bumble her way through life in seasons one and two to come out with a couple of moments of utter wisdom.

Her earnest portrayal of the well-meaning yet foolish McQuoid resulted in some hilarious moments, with fans rooting for her right up to the moment of her (spoiler alert) death in the second instalment.
And, if you haven't seen the second season and are now fuming about that spoiler, get your life together.
You've had more than enough time to see it.
Anyway, it's not the first time Coolidge has nailed an affable lady just trying to do her best.

She and Reese Witherspoon gave us the pivotal 'bend and snap' moment in 2001's Legally Blonde.
Coolidge starred as Paulette, a nail technician who had fallen on hard times and befriends Witherspoon's lead character Elle.
Most recently, Coolidge starred as Carol Fowler in Shotgun Wedding alongside fellow Jennifer, Jennifer Lopez.

In that movie, Coolidge plays the mother of the groom, played by Josh Duhamel.
Coolidge stole the show in that role and the hilarious, socially awkward, and sometimes armed future monster-in-law.
She also played the iconic role of Stifler's Mom in the American Pie movies.
Seriously, every time this woman so much as looks at comedy, the movie turns to actual cinematic gold.

She has also appeared in A Cinderella Story opposite Hilary Duff, Promising Young Woman with Carey Mulligan, and the Christopher Guest collaborations Best in Show, A Mighty Wind and For Your Consideration.
So it's about time she is recognized for her incredible contribution to Hollywood.
Good for you, girl.
