Jesse Plemons has revealed that he is often confused with another Hollywood actor and has even been given a nickname from fans because of it.
Making it in Hollywood can be tough as an actor. You are trying to stand out and make a name for yourself and have fans transition from ‘he was that guy in that thing’ to 'that is clearly *insert actors name*'.
So you might think constantly being confused for another actor would get under your skin a little bit.

But that isn’t the case for actor Jesse Plemons. The actor has been in the industry for over 20 years and has been in some of the biggest shows and films in recent memory.
He has captivated audiences in Breaking Bad, Black Mirror, Killers of the Flower Moon and even Like Mike if you remember the adorable basketball comedy featuring Lil Bow Wow.
Recently, in an interview, Plemons joked that he actually finds it quite flattering when he is mistaken for this celebrity and it is easy to see why.

He has had an illustrious career and is one of the few actors where you might give a film the benefit of the doubt just because he is in it.
And no, we aren’t talking about Leonardo DiCaprio or Tom Cruise, but rather Matt Damon.
Now personally, I don’t see the likeness and Plemons has also agreed he doesn’t really see it, but he is very aware of the comparison.
Speaking on The Today Show on 20 June, the host, Craig Melvin, said that his wife thought Plemons was Damon as they watched his latest film, Kinds of Kindness.

In response, Plemons said: “There are worse things to be called, for sure.
“It’s definitely flattering. But yeah, throughout the course of my career, I’ve had various Matt Damon-associated nicknames and such.
Which is definitely true because during his tenure as Todd while Breaking Bad was on everyone’s TV screens, many fans referred to him as ‘Meth Damon’

But the comparisons don’t stop with the fans, Plemons has said that his own family has previously suggested there was a likeness between the two characters.
Speaking earlier this month on Jimmy Kimmel Live, he said: “When I was younger my aunt watched Good Will Hunting and for some reason, she told my mom ‘This is what Jesse's going to look like when he gets old,”
Again, I don’t see it, but I simply must be one of the few who see two completely different people.
