Jessica Simpson has sparked all sorts of reactions after sharing a snap of herself enjoying a quick toilet break while in the middle of an outdoor shoot.
Look, we've all been there. Call it what you want - public urination, a 'wild wee' or simply a last resort, sometimes you're in a place with no bathrooms immediately available and you've just got to answer nature's call.
Obviously peeing in somewhere other than a toilet isn't the ideal situation, but as Simpson put it on Instagram: "When you gotta go, you gotta go."

However, while the vast majority of people will have had a pee outside at one point or another, the vast majority wouldn't have had it caught on camera. They also wouldn't have then chosen to share that picture with more than six million people.
Obviously, Simpson isn't like most people.
The singer didn't show her followers a full moon, but she did appear to share a snap which showed her navigating around her underwear and bending over while preparing to relieve herself - though hopefully not on her light grey boots, which definitely didn't look made to withstand a shower.
She shared the snap with the hashtag 'behind the scenes', indicating she was at work at the time.

It's unclear exactly what she was shooting, but it mustn't have been a job that came with decent facilities.
Simpson's decision to share her toilet break with the world has been met with very mixed responses, with some branding it bizarre, while others couldn't get enough of the singer's antics.
"I’m sorry but nobody needs to see that. And it’s not funny! Just attention seeking! So sad," one critic wrote, with another adding: "You don’t have to post everything you do online lady ..."
Others were quick to defend the 42-year-old, however, with one fan hitting back at the negative responses as they commented: "Dude. These comments do not pass the vibe check. Im sober and I’ve done this a million times.

"It’s funny. You can’t see anything. She’s always been goofy. Y’all are just looking for reasons to judge and hate. Get a better hobby."
Simpson's post came following the release of her Amazon original short story, titled Movie Star: They Always Say They’re Single, which surprised fans again as the singer described an encounter between herself and an unidentified actor who had a girlfriend.
"I was never ever in a million years going to be the other woman," Simpson said in the story.

But while she's not going to be the other woman, she is going to be a woman who pees in a field. After all, you've got to do what you've got to do.
