While some enjoy a whiskey on the rocks and others an ice-cold pint of lager, Jessica Simpson apparently prefers to drink snake sperm.
It's as bizarre as it sounds; the 'Irresistible' singer revealed last week that she drinks a Chinese herbal remedy that includes semen from the reptile to prepare her vocal chords while she's touring.
Despite there being no scientific evidence to back-up the 44-year-old's claims that serpent c*m is good for you (and I'll interject here to highly advise anyone against guzzling down snake jizz), the Texan has defended why she enjoys the tipple.

But first, let's detail what she's actually said.
Speaking in a short clip that was posted to Instagram last Friday (March 28), Simpson said: "They're like, 'What are you drinking?' Because it's this Chinese herb thing.
"And I'm like, 'I don't know.' My vocal coach told me to drink it, and they Googled the ingredients and... snake sperm."

One of her friends can be heard shouting 'no!' before asking whether it was like a tea, to which the mom-of-three replied: "It's like a honey. So, if you want a good vocal you got to drink snake sperm."
The celeb has received backlash online, with one person posting: "Jessica out here sipping ancient wisdom shots without checking the label—turns out it’s snake juice with extra protein. Cheers to blindly trusting your vocal cords to reptile romance!"

A second added: "At this point, Jessica’s vocal warm-up routine sounds like a deleted scene from a sci-fi documentary. Whatever works, I guess."

But despite everyone's concerns, Simpson - who has recently divorced from her hubby of 10 years Eric Johnson - has doubled down on guzzling serpent spunk when speaking with a TMZ reporter in LAX airport on Sunday (April 6).
She told the publication how it 'just really clears my throat', before adding: "I'm just a great singer when I have snake sperm."
She was then asked whether she would continue tasting snake 'seed', to which she replied: "Of course! Are you kidding me? Yeah!"

Later, she even quipped: "Maybe I'll make my own."
Responding to the video, one user commented on Twitter: "Hey, if she likes swallowing sperm, leave her alone!"
A second added: "Wait? She drinks snake sperm to help her vocal cords?"
A third joked: "I guess if it works for her - it works - frog balls are next for ... who knows."

I think I'll stick to water, thanks!
