Johnny Depp's relationship with Kate Moss has been thrust back into the spotlight amid the actor's ongoing defamation trial with ex-wife Amber Heard.
Depp is suing Heard over an op-ed article she wrote in 2018 for The Washington Post.
While Heard didn't mention Depp by name when she claimed to be 'a public figure representing domestic abuse,' the Pirates of the Caribbean actor has argued Heard's insinuation has ruined not only his career, but his reputation too.

After Kate Moss appeared in court via video link, today, 25 May, the supermodel and Depp's history has subsequently floated back up to the surface, including Depp's claim it was his fault their romantic relationship ended.
Depp and Moss first met in 1994 at Caf Tabac in New York and began dating that same year.
Despite a friend of Depp's telling People the couple couldn't 'keep their hands, lips, mouths, legs off each other', by 1997 their relationship came to an end.

In an interview with Hello in 1998, Depp said he was 'the one who ha[d] to take responsibility for what happened' between the pair.
He said: "I was difficult to get on with, I let my work get in the way and I didn't give her the attention I should have done."
Depp explained how 'crazy' the 'whole thing' was in how he shouldn't have gotten 'so worked up over what people had to say about [his] work'.

"Sure I should care about my movies, but when I get home I should try to leave that stuff behind. I couldn't do that and I was horrific to live with. Trust me, I'm a total moron at times," he said.
Depp stated: "I have never got that emotional over a woman before.
"[...] I have been so stupid because we had so much going for our relationship."

Moss also opened up about her and Depp's relationship in the following years after the split.
She told Vanity Fair how Depp had been the only person able to 'take care of' her 'for a bit'.
"And that's what I missed when I left. I really lost that gauge of somebody I could trust. Nightmare. Years and years of crying. Oh, the tears!" the model reflected.

Amid the final week of Depp and Heard's defamation trial, Moss's testimony contradicted Heard's earlier claims that Depp had assaulted the model while they were on holiday in Jamaica.
Moss denied Depp ever 'pushed [her], kicked [her], or threw [her] down any stairs'.
