Kate Moss says her experience at Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion wasn't 'seedy'

Kate Moss says her experience at Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion wasn't 'seedy'

The British supermodel praised the mansion's 'family vibe' and said it wasn't 'gross' at all.

Kate Moss has revealed what her experience at the Playboy Mansion was like when she was given a tour.

A lot has been said about the infamous property since Hugh Hefner died in 2017 and not much has been positive.

While some former Playboy bunnies have called the mansion derelict and the activities that went on there as seedy, the British supermodel had a very different feeling about the place.

In an interview with British Vogue, Moss said: "Well I met Hugh Hefner, I went to his house.

"I really liked him and he was there with his kids and a few of his bunnies and one of his bunnies took me round the house and gave me a tour and stuff.

"I met his secretary who'd been with him for like seventy years, they're just like a lovely institution or something, family vibes.

"I don't know, I really liked it, there was nothing like seedy or gross about it. It was kind of really playful."

Moss graced the cover of Playboy's magazine back in 2013 just before she hit 40.

To be fair, if she was one of Hefner's girlfriends then her experience might have been a bit different.

Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt, two former partners to the late magazine publisher, have made it no secret that intimacy with Hefner was harrowing.

Madison, who dated Hefner from 2001 until 2008, said Hefner would 'start fake crying' as a form of emotional manipulation when he wanted sex from her and she felt unable to talk about it due to the power he held over her.

She explained that she initially thought she was the only one Hefner directed the fake tears at, but felt vindicated later when someone else moved into the mansion and asked her about it.

After learning it was a trick he pulled on other girls to manipulate them, Madison said her image of what Hefner was like changed.

Marquardt also recounted that in addition to Hefner using a fake cry to get the women at his mansion to have sex with him, they also had to follow him around and ask him for their $1,000 weekly allowance.

But that's not the only thing that the two have revealed since launching their podcast series.

Madison said: "None of the females were into it, like sorry to burst the bubble."

She added: "We thought of it as a chore that we had to do or else we'll get kicked out of the house. And everyone just wanted to make it go by as quickly as possible."

The former Playboy bunny said sometimes Hefner wouldn't move at all during sex and they would have to do everything.

It seems like there are two very different sides to the Playboy mansion depending on what you were there for.
