Ke Huy Quan had a wholesome interaction with Indiana Jones’ Harrison Ford at the Los Angeles premiere of The Dial Of Destiny.
On Wednesday (14 June), famous faces flocked to Hollywood to celebrate the fifth film in the Indiana Jones franchise.

However, when he did, the pair shared a sweet embrace before Ford remarked: “You’re all grown up”.
Of course, the Vietnamese-born actor and the 88-year-old go way back, with the pair starring in the second Indiana Jones film, the Temple of Doom.
In the 1984 movie, Quan, then 12, played the professional pickpocket Wan Li AKA Short Round.

His character was an orphan of the 1932 Japanese bombing of Shanghai and served as a driver for Indy and his companion, Wu Han, while in the city.
A year later, Quan went on to play Data in 1985’s The Goonies before having somewhat of a resurgence last year.
In 2022, the actor found himself winning an Academy Award for his portrayal of Waymond Wang in Everything Everywhere All at Once.

Alongside co-star Michelle Yeoh, 60, the pair were awarded Best Supporting Actor and Best Actress awards at the 95th Oscars ceremony.
Viewers will remember that Quan and Ford also had an emotional reunion at the show, 38 years after they first met.
At the awards, the American actor was in charge of handing out the Best Picture Oscar to Everything Everywhere All at Once.
In videos taken from the event, you can see the 51-year-old storm on stage and emotionally embrace the actor.

Following their most recent meeting at the Indiana Jones premiere, fans have had their say across social media.
One TikTok user commented: “Harrison Ford is very rarely genuinely smiley and happy like that. How precious”.
Another wrote: “Oh this would’ve been so much sweeter if Short Round’s theme were playing in the background.”
A third said: “If he doesn’t show up as a surprise cameo in the next Indiana Jones, I don’t want it. Kidding, I’ll watch it anyway.”
