Kylie Jenner has been accused of roasting Selena Gomez not long after the singer surpassed her on Instagram.
As people debate the supposed drama on social media, Kylie has since clapped back, claiming the allegations are 'reaching'.
To give a bit of context to the speculation, last month, Selena was body-shamed over recent pictures, which she's since hit back at, telling the trolls 'b****h I'm perfect the way I am'.

I think we can all agree it's an A+ response.
At around that time, Hailey Bieber – who Selena is constantly pitted against due to her past relationship with Hailey's now-husband Justin Bieber – posted a video to TikTok where she was mouthing the lyrics to a song.
And one of the lines is: "I'm not saying she deserved it, but God's timing is always right."

That video ended up getting deleted later on, but someone managed to capture it before it was taken down and some reckoned it was some sort of veiled attack on the singer – although she's since denied this to be the case.
What has any of this got to do with Kylie? More on that in a bit.
In the Instagram world, Selena recently reached a historic milestone (again) by reaching 381 million followers, becoming the most followed woman on the platform and beating the reality star's count of 380 million.
TikToker Nuha (@devotedly.yours) speculated whether Kylie threw shade at Selena because she would 'probably care' about not being the most followed female Instagrammer.

But in a follow-up video, she came up with another theory. You see, Selena recently shared a clip in which she revealed that she'd laminated her brows 'too much'.
Three hours later, according to Nuha's calculations, Kylie took to the platform to share two Stories, the first showing her face alongside the text: "Was this an accident???"
"Ironically, she put the text on her frickin' eyebrows," says Nuha.

And in another one – and this is where Hailey comes in – she posted a screenshot of her and the model's eyebrows.
Sure, it looks suggestive, and some people were quick to jump on the criticism train.
"Insecurity is louder than words," wrote one commenter. "A secure woman would NEVER put another woman down."
Another said: "For those saying 'it was an accidental selfie posted' COME.. ON... The billionaire marketer doesn’t accidentally post anything. Be for really real."

But Kylie herself has since weighed in on the conversation and denied there's anything to it.
Commenting on Nuha's post, she wrote: "This is reaching. No shade towards Selena ever and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts! U guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly."
And it seems Selena is keen to shut the drama down too, replying to Kylie's message: "Agreed @kyliejenner It's all unnecessary. I'm a fan of Kylie!"
So there you have it – drama over... until next time.
