Post Malone Is The 'Happiest He's Ever Been' After Revealing He's Expecting His First Child

Post Malone Is The 'Happiest He's Ever Been' After Revealing He's Expecting His First Child

The rapper is 'excited for this next chapter' of his life.

Post Malone has revealed he's expecting his first child with his longtime girlfriend.

The 26-year-old rapper is stoked about the announcement and can't wait to be a dad.

He's told TMZ: "I'm excited for this next chapter in my life, I'm the happiest I've ever been, and for since I could remember I was sad.

"Time to take care of my body and my family and friends, and spread as much love as we can every day."

Post didn't confirm how far along his girlfriend is in her pregnancy so there's no telling when we can expect a mini-Malone crawling around.

It comes at a busy time for the rapper as his third album, Twelve Carat Toothache, is set to drop next month.

The album title could be in reference to the money he splashed out on getting diamonds fitted into his mouth.

The two diamonds are 12 carats and he needed 26 units of ceramic restoration to make the new grill complete.

Normal grills are essentially just sparkly mouth guards and can be removed at will. However, Post's new teeth look like they're permanent.

While they are now 12 carats, they had to be shaved down from 40 carats. They were sourced from Belgium before being flown to Israel to be cut down.

The rapper called on celebrity dentist Dr. Thomas Connelly, cosmetic dentist Naoki Hayashi, and Isaac Bokhoor of Angel City Jewelers to help him complete his vision of a pricey new smile.

Connelly said the process of getting the rocks attached to his chompers was a year and a half long ordeal.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, the dentist explained: "In order to make a diamond in the shape of a tooth - for example, if you get a six-carat canine tooth, you need a 12-carat raw cube. So there's a lot of waste.

"That diamond, they could have got three or four other diamonds out of it, so we had to waste it in order to get it into shape.

"It's very difficult to cut holes in diamonds without destroying them."

Post will have to clean them like they're normal teeth.

"He's now got two functional, full diamond teeth. They light up the room. They sparkle, they shine; they're amazing," Connelly said.

"I've been talking to a few other people who were waiting to see how this turned out before they dropped their million. So we'll see."

The celebrity dentist met Post at Madison Square Garden a few years ago and Post expressed how he wanted to get some mods done to his teeth.

But it seemed like Post enjoyed killing two birds with one stone when he saw his dentist.

The rapper told Jimmy Kimmel how he got a tattoo in the same office he was getting his teeth checked out.

"We talked about it and we were just like, you know, 'I'm gonna be sitting around for hours doing nothing anyways, why not get two bad things out of the way at the same time?'" he said.
