Logan Paul, the YouTuber, boxer and Pokémon collector, has announced plans to run for president. No, this isn't a joke.
Jed Bartlet once said, 'Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful individuals can change the world.' While we may be stretching things with 'thoughtful', there's no doubt that Logan and his brother Jake have drastically altered the landscape they operate in, whether it's their social media domination or becoming two formidable boxing personalities.
He's fought Floyd Mayweather, arguably one of the greatest boxers of all time. His IMPAULSIVE podcast gets millions of views. He's one of the defining online figures over the past decade, for better or worse. What's left for Logan, the older brother of the pair? The White House, apparently.
During the most recent episode of the podcast, Logan spoke about his ambitions to run for president when he's 35 - this would be less than 10 years away. For reference, the youngest president in history was Theodore Roosevelt, who succeeded to the office after the assassination of William McKinley at the age of 42.

'I really do think I'm gonna make a run for president when I'm 35,' he says, to which he's asked, 'What would be your first policy?'
What would President Logan's first policy be? Would it be further regulations around social media, or rather, loosening any and all restrictions to give creators more freedom online? Perhaps he's interested in free healthcare, or diving into the murkiness of the stock market after the GameStop palaver of yesteryear?
'I don't know, I'd have to do more research but I think I could do some seriously good sh*t that is so necessary but in my head, feels inevitable, but somebody has to do it,' he said.

For the record, it's not the first time he's spoken about the presidency. 'Before I die, I will be President of the United States, and honestly, I will probably be a very good president. 2032 is the first year I can run, but it's probably gonna be when I'm a grown ass man with lots of intelligence and wisdom, successes, failures... I'm excited to be your president should you live in America,' he earlier said, teasing a run sometime in the 2050s.
It's unclear which side of the political spectrum he leans on, seemingly somewhere down the middle. That said, Logan didn't take kindly Jimmy Kimmel's comparison of him to Donald Trump, branding the TV host a 'f*cking asshole' for his comments.
