Megan Fox shared her response to all the people who say she has 'weird' thumbs.
The Transformers actor, 37, knows exactly what trolls online say about her digits and in a new interview - where she also discussed experiencing body dysmorphia - she shared a message to those who criticise her body.

Fox's thumbs have been a huge talking point among social media commentators for most of her career.
Speaking to Sports Illustrated for the 2023 swimsuit edition, she said: “I don’t know why people are so fascinated by my thumbs.
“Like, I never thought that was a weird thing or an embarrassing thing. They’re just kind of short. Is it really that crazy?”

Fox explained that her unique thumbs were down to brachydactyly, a genetic condition that causes the fingers or toes being shorter than average.
The mum-of-three assured the world that she is not ‘embarrassed’ about having brachydactyly.
The well-known astrology lover said shorter-than-average fingers have a compelling significance in the practice of palm reading, too.
“It’s known in palmistry as a ‘murderer’s thumb.’ Because they say the shorter this area from the knuckle to the tip of the finger is - especially the thumb - correlates to how short your temper is,” Fox said.

But with that said, the actor said this is not the case for her since ‘it takes a lot’ for her to ‘lose [her] temper’.
She explained: “I have crazy patience, but when you do push me over the edge, you’re on demon time, and you better run for your life. It’s scary as f**k.”
Instead of her thumbs, the Sports Illustrated cover model said she has way more interesting imperfections.

“I think I have tons of other flaws that are way more interesting than my thumbs. I don’t know why people focus on that,” she shared. “I don’t know.”
Fox also admitted to having body dysmorphia and said she has never loved her body.
“I have body dysmorphia,” she told the publication. “I don’t ever see myself the way other people see me.”

“There is never a point in my life where I loved my body, never ever.”
Fox admitted she has always been critical of her image and had an ‘awareness’ and ‘obsession’ with her body ever since she was little.
Fox said she has ‘a lot of deep insecurities’ during in a joint interview with her partner Machine Gun Kelly in 2021.
“Yeah, I have body dysmorphia. I have a lot of deep insecurities,” Fox revealed during a chat with British GQ Style.
“We may look at somebody and think, ‘That person’s so beautiful. Their life must be so easy’. They most likely don’t feel that way about themselves."
