An influencer has faced backlash after she tried to shame a fellow gymgoer who called her out for dressing inappropriately.
Natalie Reynolds is an influencer and Kick streamer who regularly hits the headlines for her controversial behavior.
During a livestream on December 27, Natalie decided to do a 'social experiment' by wearing body paint to the gym.
Sharing details about her outfit, the content creator said: "So, I started getting this painted on me at 11:30am and I got done at 4:15pm.

"So, I'm sitting up for, like, five to six hours. It's painted on pants - so this is all paint. This is swimsuit bottoms."
She then went to the gym where she was politely confronted by a man who called her attire 'inappropriate.'
The man said: "If you don't have clothes on, you need to be out of here, ma'am," to which Natalie responded: "I do have clothes on."

He then continued: "Not fine, I work in the industry enough to know. I work in the entertainment field."
As the man walked off, he also appeared to tell the streamer that you're not supposed to 'videotape' in the gym.
Natalie posted a short clip of the interaction to X (formerly known as Twitter), where it has since gone viral, gaining almost 30 million views.
But, while she likely expected an outpouring of support — captioning the clip: "Guy in the gym presses me for wearing painted pants" — the reaction online was quite the opposite.

One user wrote: "Painted pants aren't real pants."
Another said: "That dude was 100 percent right. He called out your degenerate behaviour and you played the victim."
And a third commented: "I'm sick of these influencers walking around with security guards thinking they can just do whatever they want."

The streamer was even called out by X's community notes, which allows users to add context to content shared on the social media platform.
The note reads: "The man in the video is protecting the overall gym etiquette according to which you should wear clothes suitable for exercise.
"Wearing unsuitable clothes or none at all is considered to be disrespectful towards the other. It is also a hygiene risk to others."

The note is accompanied by a link to a Healthline article on proper gym etiquette.
But, the criticism seems to be have been lost on Natalie, who has since hit back in further posts.
In a tweet later the same day, she clarified that she was wearing a gym bra and bathing suit bottoms and wrote: "Why everyone acting like I was naked lmao. The amount of women who wear pants up the ass at the gym… This is nothing bad at all."
She then compared the reaction to her content with that of a male YouTuber, writing: "So a guy YouTuber makes a video just like this but when I paint myself everyone is acting like the world is ending.
"Let me get my gains and shredded in peace pls."
