It's always an awkward time for everyone when your mouth kicks in before your brain, and Amy Schumer's latest encounter with Bradley Cooper left her 'trying to recover'.
What makes it even worse is that Schumer has been very open about her crush on the Hangover star, telling Jimmy Fallon in 2015 that he is 'the kind of hot, trust me, when he is in front of you, you just grab your ankles'.
And she's also put it in more explicit terms, too - even summarising one of her fantasies to GQ for their Men of the Year 2015 as just 'anal'.

So, she's never really hidden it, which likely made their recent conversation feel like a gunshot to the chest.
While appearing as a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday (January 28), the 43-year-old comedian recalled their recent encounter following Cooper's 50th birthday on January 5.
Schumer explained how the conversation went down: "So, I saw him, and, you know, 'How are you?' And he said, you know, 'I turned 50 this year'.

"And he goes... 'You 50?'."
Cooper, do you not know it's bad manners to ask a woman how old she is, let alone guess her age?
She continued: "And I tried to recover, cause whatever I'm 43, but I'm like 'I will be 50 but I'm not 50 yet'. You 50?! You know, I was just like 'Yeah, no, I'm not Bradley, I'm not. But thank you for thinking of me'."
The Trainwreck star went on to say how 'we all want to be hot', as she explained people go to a lot of effort to try and achieve hotness.

"This is how bad people want to be hot.... people literally... run," she joked.
She then got up and pretended to run before breathlessly shouting: "Somebody have sex with me!"
"It's disgusting," she added. "They're riding a bike to nowhere to the Wicked soundtrack!"
The conversation swiftly moved on as Fallon asked how her husband, Chris Fischer, was doing, to which she shocked the audience by correcting him saying he is her 'late husband'.

As Fallon and the crowd gasped, she then quickly added: "Well, I just call him that because he's never on time. Sorry about that. Is that not... I should find a different way.
"But, no, I love him. Chris is his name, he's a rescue. They all are."
