Fans of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga star Anya Taylor-Joy have been flooding to social media in outrage after seeing how a fan interacted with her.
Granted, Taylor-Joy is one of the most talented actors of this generation, but some fans have seemed to forget that - shockingly - she is still a human being and should be treated as such.
The 28-year-old played the role of Casey Cooke in skin-crawling thriller Split (2016) and also starred in Emma, before later rising to stardom in 2020 Netflix mini-series The Queen's Gambit and her career has been on an upwards trajectory from there.

From The Menu and most recently, Furiosa: A Max Max Saga, Taylor-Joy has starred in a multitude of highly acclaimed films so it's no surprise she's also ended up with quite the fan club and following.
However, footage of the actor arriving at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival in France has shown the moment one fan in particular more than just forgot his manners.
TikTok account Makaveli75paris took to the platform yesterday (May 13) to show the moment Taylor-Joy arrived at the film festival.

The actor can be seen wearing an orange metallic off-the-shoulder dress, sunglasses and a large hat with bodyguards all around her. However, despite their presence, a fan can be seen pushing through with his hands outstretched with paper and pen trying to get an autograph.
Despite initially appearing to ward them away, Taylor-Joy grabs the pen and signs the page which prompts even more arms swarming in to get their turn.
Part two shows another moment slightly later on when one of the fans tries to barge in front of one of the members of security, right in front of the actor, with the security person having to physically remove them from getting too close, pushing them back and then getting them underneath their arms and walking them away.
However, the fan comes back for round two, with the security again having to physically intervene to make sure the actor gets safely to a car, and Taylor-Joy even spotted apologizing to fans for not signing their autograph despite how they've completely invaded her space.

And it's not taken long for people to flood to social media to weigh in on the interaction.
After the clip was reposted to X, one user said: "Just watching this gives me anxiety on her behalf!!! take a damn hint and get the f**k out of her way.
"The same person trying to get her attention after already being shoved away by her bodyguard is unhinged."

Another added: "I'm so angry, let her breathe for god's sake."
A third commented: "Ohh I hate this so much."
And a fourth resolved: "It’s so horrible and her apologizing at the end makes me so sad."
