Bam Margera just got married on the same day he was supposed to be in court with his ex
After years of ups and downs for the former reality TV star, Bam Margera finds himself double-booked on the day of his third wedding
Bam Margera’s third marriage is already off to an interesting start for the former reality star, as he tied the knot with Dannii Marie on Tuesday despite having prior obligations.
44-year-old Bam has had an up-and-down couple of years, with his consistent legal and personal troubles meaning a very limited role in Jackass Forever, the fourth instalment in the hit film series.
While one might think the former Viva La Bam star would go out of his way to avoid booking his wedding day on the same day as one of his several ongoing lawsuits and court dates, it turns out that Margera did quite the opposite when it comes to his marriage to Dannii Marie.

According to Margera’s ex-wife, Nikki Boyd, Margera’s wedding coincidentally occurred on the same day that Bam was expected in court to contest their marital status.
Due to Margera and Boyd’s wedding taking place in Iceland, Bam believes the marriage is not legally valid due to no American paperwork being signed in the process. Furthermore, ongoing legal proceedings regarding the custody of their child, Phoenix Wolf, continue to be fought amongst the couple, though the court date on Tuesday was not in relation to that issue.
Since the court date was in California and Margera’s wedding took place in New Mexico, the former Jackass star was not physically present in court on Tuesday, though he was reportedly present for the hearing through Zoom on the same day as his third wedding.
This, unsurprisingly, left two sides to the story, with Boyd and her legal team being less than delighted with Margera being double booked.
“Whatever makes him happy. I’m happy for him,” Boyd told TMZ on the day of Bam’s wedding.
“But it was curious timing, considering that he was supposed to be in court for our trial today."
Boyd’s legal team echoed the slightly frustrated sentiments: “We are currently in a bifurcated, separate trial on the issue of whether Nikki Boyd Margera should be treated as a putative spouse. It seems like a little restraint on Mr. Margera's might do him good."
As for Bam’s side of the story, it is said that the wedding had been scheduled for last Tuesday since the couple’s engagement last October, as it would coincide with the filming of Dannii Marie’s upcoming film, Collecting Souls.
It was, instead, the court date that was coincidentally pushed back and nearly interfered with the wedding.
