Bill Belichick, 73, has interview awkwardly interrupted by 24-year-old girlfriend as he's asked how they met

NFL legend Bill Belichick had his interview awkwardly interrupted by his girlfriend Jordon Hudson as he was asked on how they first met.

Belichick and Hudson shocked many last year after debuting their romance at a gala for the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

Belichick, who made a name for himself as an NFL coach, is 73, while Hudson is 49 years his junior at just 24 years of age.

While the pair have yet to publicly confirm when they first met, People magazine reports the pair met back in 2021, when they were seated next to one another on a flight from the Boston area to Florida.

The outlet has also reported they officially began dating in 2023.

Journalist Tony Dokoupil sat down with Belichick for CBS Sunday Morning, where he was interrupted by Hudson, who was sat in the background listening in.

Hudson, who was a cheerleader at college, said 'we’re not talking about this', when Belichick was asked by CBS how and where he met his current partner.

Dokoupil explained on the programme how the couple didn't feel 'comfortable' speaking about their relationship and that Hudson was a 'constant presence' throughout the eight-minute-long interview that aired on CBS over the weekend.

The former NFL coach said: "I’ve never been too worried about what everybody else thinks. Just try to do what I feel like is best for me and what’s right."

With Belichick and Hudson's notable age change, there is of course going to be a lot of noise amid the public presence they have.

Snoop Dogg made a joke about the couple during February's NFL Honors, which seemed to have been taken lightheartedly.

The rapper said in his opening monologue: "I've been a football fan for a long, long time.

"I remember back when the Cowboys was good, I remember back when the Chiefs was bad."

The rapper continued: "And I remember [when] Bill Belichick's girlfriend wasn't even born yet."

The camera then panned to show the couple's reaction as Hudson looked genuinely shocked, but went on to laugh at the lighthearted swipe, while Belichick also seemed to find it amusing.

Many online reacted to the jab, with one fan dubbing it as 'classic Snoop'.

"Appropriate roast," one person said, as another added: "I love Bill Belichick but that's hilarious! Wtg Snoop!"

Having attended Bridgewater State University, Hudson took up cheerleading and even competed in the World Championships in February 2024.
