Billy Ray Cyrus' wife Firerose has revealed how the pair ended up meeting on the set of Hannah Montana.
Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose - real name Johanna Rosie - first met on the set of the hit Disney sitcom, which saw Miley Cyrus - Billy's daughter - rise to fame.
The pair didn't start dating, however, until they collaborated on a song in 2021 and later got engaged in August 2022.

The musicians have since tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee earlier this month.
While the pair may have found romance together in 2021, they had actually first met a whole 14 years prior.
After their wedding, the newlyweds sat down with Kelly Clarkson on The Kelly Clarkson Show where they were asked about their initial introduction.

"I heard that a dog introduced y'all," Clarkson asked. "Can I meet the dog? Maybe it can help me."
To which Firerose replied: "It is actually a funny story because I was walking out of an audition on the Sunset Gala in Hollywood and Billy's dog at the time, Tex, who was the most beautiful German shepherd you have ever seen — he was tapped into some divine purpose.
"We, at the time, were just friends and all these years later... we just got married."
And in a previous interview with People, Billy detailed his version of events on how he met the Australian singer.

On the set of Hannah Montana, Cyrus recalled how standing by a couple of pine trees with his dog led him to meet his now-wife.
He said: "There’s a couple old pine trees on the lot that look like Tennessee.
"Tex and I would go out there in the middle of the day and he’d take care of his business and we’d stretch and I’d think how much I missed Tennessee."
On that day, Firerose had been auditioning for a role on the show, but she was unsuccessful.

He continued: "On that given day, Firerose came out of the front door. There was almost a moment of, I don’t know, recognition. I was like: ‘This girl’s a star'."
Cyrus introduced Firerose to some of the people who worked on Hannah Montana later that day, and allowed her in with producers to watch rehearsals.
After that moment, the duo stayed in touch and grew a close bond.

But it wasn't until 2021 with the release of their song 'New Day' when the pair's relationship really hit off.
Looks like Tex was a pretty good matchmaker.
