Olivia Newton-John’s daughter has said her mother ‘visited’ her two weeks after her death.
The music icon and actor, who was best known for playing Sandy Olsson in the iconic musical Grease, died aged 73 on August 8 last year after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
She died peacefully at her home in Santa Ynez, California 30 years after her diagnosis. The four-time Grammy winner faced a 2013 recurrence privately before revealing to the public that the cancer had metastasized to her sacrum in 2017.

On the first anniversary of her mother’s death, her daughter Chloe Lattanzi shared details about the weeks following Newton-John’s passing, including the moment she saw her mom in the most unexpected way.
“Two weeks after she passed away my phone accidentally took a picture of my dog, and there floating by his head was a little blue orb, the same colour as this,” Lattanzi told People magazine. She was referring to an aquamarine pendant necklace.
Lattanzi explained that the ‘Physical’ singer previously promised to ‘show up as one of those orb things’ after her death during a conversation about paranormal TV shows.

“Mom and I had talked years back. We’d watch these paranormal shows, and I’d say, ‘You gotta show up for me’. And she was like, ‘I’ll show up as one of those orb things'.”
John Easterling, Newton-John’s husband from 2008 until her death and Lattanzi’s stepfather, has had similar supernatural experiences.

During a visit to Peru with his wife’s ashes two months ago, he also spotted a blue orb in a picture taken of him.
Easterling visited Peru to hold a ceremony at the spot where they got married to commemorate what would have been their 15th wedding anniversary. A picture from the special moment shows a blue orb on Easterling’s face.
“I took a picture, and this blue orb is right between my eyes,” he told People while showing the image. “It’s been a supernatural year.”
Easterling and Lattanzi are planning to continue Newton-John’s legacy by leading her annual Olivia’s Walk for Wellness in Melbourne to raise money for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre and cancer research through the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund.

“It’s an honour,” Lattanzi said. “I know it’s going to be really hard emotionally, but I’m excited to do this for her.”
Easterling added: “I have to stop and just be grateful. She wants us to live life and love life and never lose sight of the good things.”
