Christopher Reeve’s son Will Reeve has discussed whether or not he wants to take on Hollywood like his father.
Arguably, the most famous actor to bring DC Comics’ Superman to the silver screen is Christopher Reeve.
At 24 years old, he reportedly beat out the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Caitlyn Jenner and Jon Voight to the role and made his debut as the Kryptonian in 1978’s Superman.

After reprising the hero in subsequent sequels Superman II, Superman III and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, Reeve hung up the red cape and went on to star in 1993’s The Remains of the Day, and Ron Underwood’s Speechless.
He later became a dad to three children - Matthew, 44, Alexandra, 40, and Will, 32.
Three years after his youngest son was born, Reeve was paralyzed from the neck down after competing in an equestrian competition in Virginia.

Following his shocking accident, which caused him to use a wheelchair and ventilator for the rest of his life, the actor continued to raise his children with his wife Dana Morosini until his death at age 52.
20 years on from their father’s heart failure, Matthew, Alexandra and Will have come together to feature in a brand new documentary chronicling their father’s life.

Speaking to PEOPLE at the event on September 18, Will opened up on whether he plans to step in his famous father’s footsteps.
"I don't know. I like my job as correspondent at ABC News,” he said. “I think I like, maybe, performing, but I don't know if I'm any good at acting.”
When asked how he feels about David Corenswet becoming the third actor to portray Superman after his dad, Will added: "I think they got a good one in David.”
Despite appearing not to be too interested in breaking into Hollywood, Will has a number of acting credits under his belt already.
