Kathy Griffin has shocked fans after showing her lips following a daring cosmetic procedure.
The comedian got the fright of her life after receiving a treatment known as ‘blushing’, a form of tattoo to enhance the color and shape of lips.
The former reality star documented the process on YouTube and the results didn't look pretty.

The 62-year-old also showed her husband's reaction, who let an audible ‘s**t’ once Griffin debuted her new look.
“It’s a little swollen!” she said to her husband.
However, the comedian provided an update four to six days later, revealing that her lips finally went down.
Thank god!

Another said: “Hilarious! I watched it three times! I’m so happy that you’re back! I’ve always thought you need to be on YouTube.”

Unlike many other celebrities, Griffin has always been incredibly transparent about her cosmetic procedures and plastic surgery.
She hilariously dubs it ‘Hollywood dental work’.
Griffin has previously admitted to getting lip fillers, breast augmentations, a nose job and a chin implant, which she has since had removed.

In 2017, the comedian even documented her process of getting a vaginal rejuvenation procedure and the following year, she shared pictures of her new butt implants.
In 2011, during a taping of her friend Paul Provenza’s show The Green Room with Paul Provenza, the Suddenly Susan actor opened up about the pressure on women to constantly look good.
“I’ll take all your questions. I’ve had everything done except the tits,” she said.
“That’s the tragedy about female comedians. We still want to be pretty and girls.”
She confessed: “There’s just a lot of stuff -- stars without makeup, she’s looking haggard -- and it does get to me.
“So I went to the dentist, that’s my code, and I got a root canal and filling.”
