Friends star Courteney Cox has opened up about using filler in her face and why it's one of her biggest regrets.
The 59-year-old actor has grown up in the spotlight, having had her first 'big break' in Bruce Springsteen's music video for 'Dancing in The Dark' released ahead of his 1984 album, to appearing in her iconic role in hit sitcom Friends and reprising her role several times for Scream.
And like many others in the public eye, Cox has sometimes ended up scrutinizing her own appearance, with the actor revealing she used to have filler injected into her face.
In March 2023, the Friends alum sat down with the Gloss Angeles podcast to chat about 'the best and worst of her beauty routine'.

She revealed to hosts and beauty journalists Kirbie Johnson and Sara Tan one thing she wishes she never did related to beauty was get fillers in her face.
Cox explained: "Thinking I was getting older when I was really young, that's just a bummer, a waste of time; it's a domino effect, it's like you don't realize that you look a little off, so then you keep doing more cause you look normal to yourself.
"You look in the mirror and go, 'Oh, that looks good,' you think, and you don't realize what it looks like to the outside person and just doing too many fillers and having to have them removed, which thank god they are removable, I think I messed up a lot and now luckily I can, I was able to reverse most of that, now I'm actually just older."

The star added she's still sometimes taken aback by photographs of her taken in the period she was using filler.
"I look at pictures of me from when I thought I looked okay, and I can't believe it," she said.
And it's not the first time Cox has spoken out about her relationship with her appearance over the years.

The actor told New Beauty in 2017 that plastic surgery and other cosmetic procedures were normalized in Hollywood circles, especially among women.
"You go to a doctor who would say, 'You look great, but what would help is a little injection here or filler there','' she explained.
Following her decision to remove her fillers, Cox said: "I feel better because I look like myself. I think that I now look more like the person that I was."
She continued: "Things are going to change. Everything's going to drop. I was trying to make it not drop, but that made me look fake.

"You need movement in your face, especially if you have thin skin like I do.
"Those aren't wrinkles - they're smile lines. I've had to learn to embrace movement and realize that fillers are not my friend."
