Demi Moore has provided an update on her ex-husband Bruce Willis is doing following his dementia diagnosis.

Willis took a step back from acting in 2022 after being diagnosed with the language impairment disorder aphasia.

Willis' family provided an update on the actor's health last year, stating he had been given a diagnosis of frontotemporal degeneration (FTD).

Many members of the Die Hard star's family have provided the odd health update since then, with Willis' ex-wife, Moore, the latest.

While the pair may not be romantically involved anymore, Moore maintains a good relationship with Willis and his wife, Emma Heming Willis.

Moore appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show on Friday (13 September), where she provided a health update on the Hollywood legend.

But first, Barrymore recalled working with Willis on Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, the 2003 movie where 69-year-old featured in a small cameo role.

The TV host said: "When we did Charlie’s Angels, Bruce came and played on it, and he opens up the film. And we got to work with him.

"I mean, I used to know him when he was a bartender at Cafe Central! I’ve known him my whole life, too. How is he right now?"

Moore instantly replied: "Given the givens, he’s in a stable place."

Elsewhere in the interview, Moore detailed what she's been telling her kids amid Willis' ongoing health issues.

During their 13-year marriage between 1987 and 2000, the former celebrity couple welcomed daughters Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and 30-year-old Talullah.

While they may be adults, Moore still offers useful advice to her daughters.

"What I say to my kids is you meet them where they’re at. You don’t hold on to who they were or what you want them to be, but who they are in this moment," Moore said on The Drew Barrymore Show.

"And from that, there is such beauty and joy and loving and sweetness."

Last month, Tallulah provided a 'painful' update on her father's wellbeing.

Speaking to E! News, she said: "Our visits have so much love and I feel that and that overarches anything for me—being able to have that connection.

“I know I know he knows how much I love him, I know how much he loves me. I know how much he loves all of us."

She continued: "We are in a very unique position where we have this platform. All of us do, all of us in our own ways have a voice and have eyes on us.

"I think it’s been ingrained...how can we use something that’s painful or challenging or a struggle and create awareness about it or find the thing that could be supportive or healing for other people.”
