With Emilia Clarke being the Mother of Dragons, you’d think she’d have endless eligible suitors.
Rather sensibly though, the former Queen of Westeros is in no rush to share her kingdom just yet.
However, this didn’t stop her mum, Jenny, from trying to play cupid on the red carpet after Mario Lopez congratulated her on her daughter. Take a look:
The romantic moment happened at the 2016 Emmys, ahead of Game Of Thrones' big win at the annual ceremony.

Inspired by her on-screen alter ego, Khaleesi, the HBO actor wore a blush-coloured chainmail gown on the red carpet and stopped off to talk with Mario Lopez.
During the Extra TV interview, Clarke revealed that she’d brought her mum, Jenny, as her date to the TV award.
Upon hearing this, the host then beckoned the businesswoman over to chat about her daughter and even gushed about the actor.
“Congratulations on your offspring,” he told the British woman.

Like all mums, Jenny then wasted no time in teasing her daughter and said: “She’s okay…she scrubs up well.”
Whilst the actor was left in hysterics, Lopez then responded: “That’s so nice, I’m a big momma’s boy too.”
At which point, Jenny’s ears pricked up with her telling the presenter: “You must be a nice guy…”
Without hesitation, she then turns her head and checks for a wedding ring – only to be left disappointed when she sees the little gold band.

“No I’m not single…” laughs Lopez, as he shows off his ring to the camera with an embarrassed Emilia Clarke laughing in the corner.
Whilst it might not have ended in a right royal wedding, the US host did ask the actor what her knight in shining armour would be like and the answer may surprise you.
Apparently, the Marvel star is not opposed to a dadbod as she explained on the red carpet.

“Yeah…I mean you know it’s all about the comedy,” revealed Clarke.
Given that she is one of the most beautiful women in the world though, Lopez wasn’t satisfied with the actor’s answer.
“Come on…you need a visual,” he teased her.
Laughing, Clarke then told him: “Dimples are not a prerequisite…that’s all I’m saying.”

Though she laughed it off, we can’t help but wonder if the lady doth protest too much – maybe?
Whilst we can’t wait to see Clarke find her king, it’s safe to say we are totally in love with her and her mum.
