Glenn Close opened up about her love life while speaking to Drew Barrymore in a brutally honest new interview.
Veteran actress Glenn Close will likely disappoint fans if they want to know the nitty gritty details of her love life.
Recently speaking to Drew Barrymore on her show, she revealed what dating has been like in the last 10 years since her divorce.

Back in 2015, the 77-year-old split from her biotech engineer husband David Shaw.
When Barrymore asked her whether she has been entertaining any relationships since, Close bluntly replied 'no'.
The TV host admitted that she was very much in the same boat. Close went on to explain that this didn’t bother her very much for one simple reason.

Close said: “I don’t know I'm always up for anything but I am very happy right now.”
Barrymore couldn’t help but pry a little more and asked whether Close had ever jumped on one of the many dating apps available.
To which Close simply replied: "Are you crazy?!” and added that she was ‘too shy’ to try all of that.
Barrymore admitted she had tried them and got really into it.

She said: “I got so into it, I thought it was so much fun. The search is different.”
The three-time Golden Globe Award winner and mother-of-one candidly said she simply wasn’t searching.
She continued: “Because I'm not a hugely comfortable social person so I don’t leap to go to a party, at all. I’m okay.”
The host then shifted the conversation towards Close’s latest film, Back in Action.

Close's split from Shaw marked her third divorce and the actress has previously spoken about why she believes her previous marriages and relationships haven’t worked.
In 1969, at the age of 22, she entered into her first marriage with singer-songwriter Cabot Wade and split from him in 1971. In 1984, she married businessman James Marlas, splitting in 1987. Her most recent relationship was with Shaw and the two got married in 2006 before splitting in 2015 amicably.
In an interview with Parade, she explained that it wasn’t always the best decision to get together with someone else who wasn’t in show business.

She said: “To stay an artist, you have to be with people who understand that and don't expect you to have their outlook on the world.
“It really is like two different languages.”
