Gwyneth Paltrow has spoken about her devastation of Matthew Perry dying at the age of 54.
The Friends star was found unresponsive at his Los Angeles home on the weekend and an investigation is underway into what happened.
Many have flooded social media with their best Chandler Bing moments as well as their heartache at a star taken way too soon.

Paltrow is one of those and she has reflected on their short romance before either were internationally recognized superstars.
She wrote on Instagram: "I met Matthew Perry in 1993 at the Williamstown Theater Festival in Massachusetts. We were both there for most of the summer doing plays.
"He was so funny and so sweet and so much fun to be with.

"We drove out to swim in creeks, had beers in the local college bar, kissed in a field of long grass.
"It was a magical summer. He had shot the pilot of Friends but it had not aired yet.
"He was nervous, hoping his big break was just around the corner. It was.
"We stayed friends for a while until we drifted apart, but I was always happy to see him when I did.

"I am super sad today, as so many of us are. I hope Matthew is at peace at long last. I really do."
Friends aired for the first time in 2014 and completely changed Perry's life forever as the series became an instant hit.
Perry opened up about his relationship with the Goop founder in his memoir, Friends Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing.

He said the two of them made out in a broom closet at a party and they were relatively unknown at this point.
When he was asked by GQ about what he thought Paltrow's reaction to being included in the memoir, he hoped it would be positive.
"Hopefully, she'll find it to be a cute story," he said.
"It'd be bad if Gwyneth Paltrow hated me; I wouldn't like that."

Perry later had several high-profile relationships with the likes of Julia Roberts, Lizzy Caplan, Gabrielle Allan and Molly Hurwitz.
In the wake of his tragic death, fans have flocked to a building in New York City that was used to film Friends.
They have left flowers and messages to the late star and they have turned the building into a mini-shrine for the actor.
One handwritten note left by a fan read 'Could we be any more upset that you are gone?'
