Tim & Dee TV have responded to Haliey Welch's recent sentiments about them and how their video helped make her famous.
While you might not have heard of Haliey, there's a very good chance you know about 'Hawk Tuah girl' - the moniker Haliey is now famously known by.
As to how the NSFW nickname came about, it all stems back to a video posted by Tim Dickerson and DeArius Marlow, the duo who make up Tim & Dee TV, earlier this year.

She was asked by them: "What’s one move in bed that makes a man go crazy every time?"
Haliey replied: "You gotta give ’em that ‘hawk tuah’ and spit on that thing." And thus Hawk Tuah girl was born.
Fast forward a few months and Haliey is now known worldwide and has even bagged herself her very own podcast called Talk Tuah.

She's also said to be worth around $200,000 in the wake of her viral fame, Marca reports.
In recent days, Haliey was asked if she'd ever thank Tim & Dee TV for helping her get her name of her map, but she's not rushing to do so.
During an appearance on The Bobby Bones Show, she was asked if she'd approached the creators to say thanks, she replied: "Tell him thank you for what?"

When pressed to the fact the video made her famous, she continued: "Well, see, we reached out to him and I asked him to stop posting those videos and he never did.
"He blocked us all on everything. So I'm not telling him thank you for anything."
Now Tim & Dee TV themselves have reacted to this.
Taking to Twitter on November 19, their official account reshared a snippet of Haliey's interview alongside a meme of a guy holding a wad of cash with the caption 'we changed this broke n**** life'.

The post has since been liked 91,000 times.
The pair went on to claim they were 'uncovering all the bulls***' in their replies beneath the post.
Hitting back at someone criticising them for asking Haliey a sexual question, they said: "They literally asked for a spicy question. Before I just asked how to get over a breakup and what makes her wife material.
"Pretty reasonable questions if you ask me. Its literally all on video. Go watch the whole thing and stop yappin."

Responding to another X user, they continued: "They approached us, saw the views we get & wanted the clout so they got it. Said multiple [times] to post the video so we did.
"People be wanting their lil 15min fame but now it's a problem? Playin victim. She Not a victim she a volunteer nobody forced that bih to be there."
UNILAD has approached Haliey's reps for comment.
Tim & Dee TV's reply comes after the pair called out for credit off the back of Haliey's success.
"At the end of the day, nobody would know who she was if we didn’t bring it to light and post it," DeArius said to the New York Times.
"A lot of the audience who hadn’t seen us before think we grew off this one clip. People were treating it like we’re nobodies and didn’t already have a platform."
