Haliey Welch appears to have called out Yung Gravy on Twitter after he shared screenshots of their DMs.
Hailey, best known as Hawk Tuah Girl, recently revealed that the 'Betty' rapper asked her out on a date, but she said no.
Yung Gravy has since shared evidence of their Instagram exchange and implied that he was just trying to be 'nice' rather than coming on to the viral star.

One of his messages - which was shared to Twitter - read: "Damn I just looked at ur page and u realy out here doing this s**t lol congrats b [sic]."
He then continued in a second DM: "When i went to find ur page i was fr just tryna salute u for being a certified top champ."
"This aint just me trying to finesse cause idk ur mans situation," the rapper went on. "But i wanted to have u at a show next month to hear my country s**t."

But Haliey was quick to respond to his post and shared further screenshots of their chat as Yung Gravy's pictures notably missed the part where he messaged her first.
He first messaged Haliey on July 29 saying 'Hello maam', with her going on to respond two days later.
Yung Gravy also seemed to follow up on his previous messages sharing the dates of his concerts in the US and also sent her a link to his Spotify to listen to his new country music.

Retweeting the rapper's post on Twitter, Haliey said: "Close but no gravy."
People have since labeled her post as 'savage' and someone replied to the thread, writing: "Savage showing them receipts."
"The drama i didn’t know i needed," wrote someone else, as a third person quipped: "Bros about to change his name from gravy to grave after the way you killed him with that."
Others questioned if Yung Gravy and Haliey now have beef with one another.

But Haliey insisted that there's no bad blood between the pair as she replied: "No beef just having fun."
While it's all just a bit of fun, some people criticized Haliey for trying to call out the rapper and don't think Yung Gravy did anything wrong.
"What are we supposed to get out of this?" questioned one person. "He wasn’t asking you out aggressively. It wasn’t even direct.
"Maybe he should’ve been, then this expose would’ve made sense."
"At what point in these screenshots did he ask you out," pondered another.
UNILAD has previously approached Yung Gravy and Haliey's reps for comment.
