Hugh Hefner's widow has revealed what his 'last words' were before he passed away.
The controversial Playboy magazine publisher passed away on September 27 2017, while married to wife of almost five years, Crystal Hefner.
The widow has since opened up about the pair's relationship as well as what Hugh said just before he died.
In her memoir titled Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy and Finding Myself released earlier this month, Crystal says she was asked to stay in the notorious Playboy Mansion in October 2008 when she was just 21-years-old.

Just a few months later, she ended up in a relationship with Hugh and he proposed on Christmas Eve in 2010 - the pair eventually getting married in 2012 and remaining so until Hugh's death in 2017.
Crystal has reflected on their relationship as having 'a really big power imbalance'.
She told PEOPLE magazine: "It seemed like a world of success and fantasy, but everyone’s having to sleep with an 80-year-old. There’s a price. Everything has a price."
Having since said she was never actually 'in love' with Hugh, Crystal has also revealed what the pair's last conversation before Hugh passed away entailed.

According to her book, Hugh's 'last words' were said while he was receiving fluids via an IV drip on his death bed.
Crystal says the magazine publisher had been fighting an 'aggressive' and 'highly resistant to antibiotics and difficult to treat' E. coli infection, despite his death having been ruled as 'natural causes'.
Crystal says his last words were: "I'm okay."

The widow has previously avoided speaking out about her relationship with Hugh in any sort of negative light because of a 'promise' she made to him.
However, in July 2023, she told The Post she realised she 'needed to be honest' about her time spent in the Playboy Mansion.
Crystal's words follow in the wake of several former Playboy Mansion girls who have come forward to speak out about Hugh's alleged behaviour, such as Kendra Wilkinson saying Playboy 'messed her whole life up'.

A Playboy spokesperson told UNILAD: "The Hefner family is no longer associated with Playboy, and today’s Playboy is not Hugh Hefner’s Playboy.
"Today, our organization is run by a workforce that is more than 80% female, and we will continue to confront any parts of our legacy that do not reflect our values today, and to build upon the progress we have made as we evolve as a company so we can drive positive change for our employees and our communities."
