The pair's joint statement read: "The statement read: "After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down. In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage.
"We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change. We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy."
Since revealing they'd decided to part ways last year, fans of the actors flooded to social media in disbelief, with some 'speechless' over how they worded their joint statement and the image they included with it.
And Fisher has since taken to her Instagram stories once again since the announcement was made.

News of Fisher and Cohen's split followed shortly after Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson came forward claiming she was 'sexually harassed' by Baron Cohen while filming The Brothers Grimsby.
Wilson spoke out about the alleged incident in her memoir Rebel Rising, alleging Cohen wanted her to shoot a scene for the film 'naked'.
She claims despite her arguing the scene was 'no way essential to the plot', Cohen tried to make her wear clothes 'where you could see as much cellulite as possible' in a bid to make her 'look and feel awful'.

Wilson also alleged other people have similar 'stories' to tell about Cohen, having come forward to share them since she detailed her alleged ordeal in her memoir.
Cohen has strenuously denied any wrongdoing, with a spokesperson telling The Hollywood Reporter: "While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of The Brothers Grimsby."
It didn't take long for the rumor mill to get going, fans of the actors taking to social media to question whether Wilson's allegations were a catalyst for him and Fisher parting ways, however, Wilson swiftly shut down such speculation.
