Sophie Turner has shared some candid admissions about the breakdown of her marriage to Joe Jonas and how it all played out in the media.
Turner and Jonas wed in 2019 and went on to welcome two daughters over the course of their marriage.
But they shocked the world last September when they shared a joint statement on social media announcing their separation.
"After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage," it read.

"There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."
At the time of their break up, Turner was in the UK filming her upcoming TV series Joan, while Jonas was in the US with their kids.
The Game of Thrones star has now spoken out about the guilt she faced while being away from her daughters as her divorce was played out in the news.
"I mean, those were the worst few days of my life," she told Vogue of the aftermath of her and Jonas' split.

Speaking about mom guilt, Turner went on: "I remember I was on set, I was contracted to be on set for another two weeks, so I couldn’t leave. My kids were in the States and I couldn’t get to them because I had to finish Joan. And all these articles started coming out…
"It hurt because I really do completely torture myself over every move I make as a mother - mum guilt is so real! I just kept having to say to myself, ‘None of this is true. You are a good mum and you’ve never been a partier.'"
In fact, in contradiction to the partying reporters, Turner has previously hailed herself as a 'homebody'.

In an interview with Conan O'Brien during the pandemic, she opened up about life during lockdown, claiming she enjoyed it.
She told the host: "I'm an introvert. I'm a homebody. If I could stay at home all day I would.
"Everything seems to be working out in my favor here because Joe's a real social butterfly, so I struggle to lock him down and have him just spend time with me.

"It's like prison for him, but it's great for me."
The month following their announcement, 'Cake' hitmaker Jonas filed to dismiss their divorce proceedings.
28-year-old Turner requested for them to be reactivated in March, however.
