Tenacious D fans have raised questions about Jack Black's reaction to Kyle Gass' remarks regarding Donald Trump.
On Saturday (July 13), Trump was the victim of an assassination attempt but the shooter missed the former president after he turned his head at the last minute.
The following day marked Gass' 64th birthday, sparking his bandmate Black to have a cake brought out to him on stage.
Making a wish as he blew out his candles, Gass said: "Don't miss Trump next time."

While the audience laughed, his comments sparked outrage elsewhere. There was even calls for the music duo to be deported back to the US from Australia.
In the days that followed, Kung Fu Panda favorite Black issued a statement saying that he'd been 'blindsided' by Gass' apparent wish and announced that they were canceling the rest of Tenacious D's tour.
His statement read: "I was blindsided by what was said at the show on Sunday. I would never condone hate speech or encourage political violence in any form.

"After much reflection, I no longer feel that it's appropriate to continue the Tenacious D tour, and all future creative plans are on hold."
While Black has actively spoken out condemning his bandmate's comments, people have raised questions about how the star really feels about the ordeal in light of videos of their performance doing the rounds online.
Fans who attended the night in question filmed Gass receiving his birthday cake and making the comments about Trump.
Some also went on to catch Black's initial reaction to the 'wish' where 54-year-old appears to laugh.

Pointing this out, one person on X wrote: "So Black clearly found it funny then, I mean… literally visually and obviously found it funny until someone told him not to."
"Yep, it was fine until the media was like think about Disney and your image," said another, before adding: "Which is funny because he’s so successful he shouldn’t have to."
A third weighed in: "Oh. I for sure still think Jack Black finds it funny. But the amount of trouble it puts him and his corporate partners in - especially if Trump becomes president again - he needed to walk it back."

Others had a more balanced view on the matter. One social media user mused: "I find myself fence sitting on this, I think it comes down to 'too soon'. The tone was clearly not out of character, but JB is a corporate entity, and that comes with cringe, soul sucking responsibilities.
"Trump is a joke, but KG could have softened the phrasing a bit."
Gass himself has since addressed his comment in a statement of his own, saying: "The line I improvised onstage Sunday night in Sydney was highly inappropriate, dangerous and a terrible mistake.
"I don't condone violence of any kind, in any form, against anyone.

"What happened was a tragedy, and I'm incredibly sorry for my severe lack of judgement. I profoundly apologize to those I've let down and truly regret and pain I've caused."
