If you needed another reason to love Jackie Chan, this is it.

The acclaimed actor is well loved for his films like Rush Hour, Karate Kid, The Foreigner and Kung Fu Panda, but it's a 2017 interview that's making people like him even more.

Ahead of the release of The Foreigner, Chan went on Access Hollywood Live to discuss the new movie, which he starred in alongside Pierce Brosnan.

But the actor was asked a rogue question about the Kardashian family that left him completely stumped.

Chan was being interviewed by Natalie Morales and Kit Hoover when they asked him to name his favorite Kardashian.

He replied, while looking visibly confused: "Kardashian? What do you mean Kardashian?"

"I don't know," he went on. "Is that English? I've never heard that before."

Years on from the interview being aired, and people are still finding it funny.

Meanwhile, others praised him not knowing who the famous reality TV family were.

One person gushed on X: "Oh, I totally get where Jackie Chan is coming from! Its refreshing to see someone in the limelight focusing on their craft rather than getting caught up in all the Kardashian hype.

"Sometimes its nice to disconnect from all the celebrity noise and just stay true to yourself, right? Kudos to Jackie for keeping it real!"

"That's something to be proud of, actually," said a second.

Another person quipped: "Good for him, i wish i didn’t know."

"That's a good man right there," laughed another person on social media.

On Reddit, someone hailed Chan's lack of knowledge about the Kardashians as 'blessed sweet oblivion'.

"I like Jackie Chan even more now," wrote someone else after watching the interview snippet.

"In a world full of Kardashians, be a Jackie Chan," mused another.

The actor turned 70 last month, and some of his fans expressed concern about him ahead of his milestone birthday.

Some thought that Chan looked older and frailer than usual in an image of him that was doing the rounds online, sparking the Karate Kid star to issue a statement.

"Not so long ago, a lot of friends saw some recent photos of me on the internet, and they were all concerned about my health," Chan said, addressing the photograph in question.

"I want to take this opportunity to let everyone know, don’t worry! It’s just a character appearance for my latest movie. The character requires me to have white hair, white beard and look old.

"Over the years, I’ve always been willing to try new things for a movie, no matter if it’s a challenging stunt or a breakthrough appearance for a character. I’ve been in the entertainment business for 62 years and I cherish every moment because I’m lucky I’m still filming today."
