Kat Von D used to be associated with all things spooky and macabre, however, in recent years she has undergone some major life changes.
The former Miami Ink star has recently converted to Christianity which prompted a major overhaul of her life - which included covering her famous inkings.
Von D - who was born in Montemorelos, Mexico - began her lifestyle change back in 2020, when she sold off her highly coveted make-up brand to Kendo.

Around the same time, she started covering up her tattoos, explaining that they ‘meant nothing to her’ and now only served as ‘landmarks’ of ‘dark times’.
In the weeks and months that followed, Von D began blacking out her previous inkings across her leg and shared a photo on Instagram.
Having undergone hours of blackout tattooing, she told her 9.4 million followers that she was relieved to see her ‘garbage, drunken tattoos’ replaced with ‘sleekness and simplicity’.

The changes didn’t stop there with the LA Ink star selling off her famous tattoo shop, High Voltage, as part of her relocation from California to Indiana.
Her changes have continued this year, with the TV star deciding to sell her occult and macabre books.
In a lengthy post on social media, the star explained that she’d removed anything that didn’t ‘align’ with her anymore.
Having previously practised witchcraft, Von D seemed renouncing her spirituality, adding: “…it’s never been more clear to me that there is a spiritual battle taking place, and I want to surround myself and my family with love and light.”

And most recently, the star was baptized as a Christian in a ceremony at her local church in Indiana.
Surrounded by her loved ones, the mum-of-one dressed in an angelic white robe and was blessed by a priest.
He told the attendees: “Katherine von Drachenberg, upon your profession of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in obedience to His Divine command, I baptise you, my sister, in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”

After being placed in the holy water, she smiled and hugged the priest.
Sharing the footage to Instagram, Von D captioned the post with a simple cross emoji.
