People are flooding to social media in heated debate over shower etiquette after Kelly Clarkson revealed her habits.
Ah, the age old debate about the proper way to have a shower.
And who should trickle into the discussion? Why, 'Underneath the Tree' singer Kelly Clarkson of course.

Prepare to pick up your shower heads and get ready for battle:
Earlier this week, on December 6's episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the host sat down with Kenan Thompson and discussed the 'shower advice' which features in his book.
In a clip from the episode posted to YouTube, Thompson notes that we often talk about 'brushing your teeth in the shower' and Clarkson quickly jumps in: "Here's the thing, I don't regularly [...] brush my teeth in the shower, I just, I do if I'm in a hurry.

"Now I do happen to be in a hurry often. [...] That's where I'm at. That's my choice."
Thompson responds by noting he finds it 'gross' if you brush your teeth while showering and he doesn't stop there either.
He argues: "I don't do it. And I think there's another mention of like maybe washing your legs in the shower, like get all the way. You know, don't just leave your ankles out."

"But wait, when you're washing up here, it does wash down," Clarkson argues.
The singer also notes that she pees 'almost every time' she has a shower and Thompson simply says, 'Awesome,' although noting it does make him feel 'ashamed' opposed to Clarkson who feels 'productive' as a result.
Unfortunately, not everyone is willing to let some of Clarkson's shower habits slide quite as easily.

One X - formerly known as Twitter - user said: "Way too much information."
"Yuk pee in the shower," another commented.
A third wrote: "Both are gross."
However, others have stuck up for Clarkson, rushing to the comments on the video to defend her shower tricks.

A user commented: "Oh, Kelly, you unfiltered queen. I freaking love her so much. 'I feel productive'. She and I are the same."
A second added: "The peeing in the shower thing...I actually feel the same way. Oftentimes, I try not to do it, but if I am going to do it, I aim for the drain at a close distance."
And a final resolved: "OMG Kelly is just so unfiltered I love it. She is the most relatable talk show host out there for me."
So, to brush, pee, both or neither? What do you do?
