Kid Rock told BBC News presenter Caitríona Perry he thought she 'sounds sexy' during a live broadcast.
On Sunday (January 19), the 'Redneck Paradise' singer and longtime Donald Trump supporter - real name Robert James Ritchie - performed at the 'Make America Great Again' Rally at Capital One Arena in Washington DC.
The day after his performance, he took part in a live TV interview with BBC News to discuss Trump's inauguration.
During the broadcast, Kid Rock asked the reporter what she was 'doing' and 'where' she was at to which Perry said: "I’m standing on a rooftop in these very very chilly conditions. We’ll be on air for 12 hours so I don’t think I’ll have anywhere near as fun a day as you have planned for yourself! That sounds like you got the better deal here indeed."

After taking a drag of his cigarette, the musician noted he actually couldn't 'see' the reporter, so couldn't see what she 'look[s] like'.
Awkwardly laughing, the reporter replied: "Well, I look like I’m ready to hit the slopes. I can tell you, I’m in full-on ski gear here with my hat, gloves, the whole thing, ready to rock because you’ve got to be wrapped up against the elements, don’t you?"
Rock continued: "I love to go skiing. You sound sexy, you want to go with me?”

Taken aback, Perry hesitated briefly and stuttered slightly before powering on and bringing the interview to an end: "Well, we won’t get into that right here. So, no skiing today, we’ve got a day of broadcasting to do."
And it's not taken long for a clip of the interaction to go viral and people to flood to social media to weigh in.
One Twitter user said: "Kid Rock flirting on BBC News is some of the most awkward television you'll see this year."

"Well handled @CaitrionaPerry," another added.
A third commented: "TV license so worth it."
A fourth simply resolved: "Yikes."
Trump himself had a 'bizarre moment' with Perry back in 2017, as per the BBC.

Trump asked Perry where she was from, telling someone on the phone he had 'beautiful Irish press' in front of him.
Trump added: "She has a nice smile on her face, so I bet she treats you well."
UNILAD has contacted Caitríona Perry for comment.
