Kim Kardashian is no stranger to a bold fashion statement.
Many of her biggest moments have taken place on the ivory carpet of New York's annual Met Gala, where the reality TV star has previously worn looks such as Marilyn Monroe's dress, to a head-to-toe black morphsuit from Balenciaga.
But when Kim made her Met Gala debut 10 years ago as ex-husband Kanye West's plus one, her outfit ruffled a few feathers... and not in a good way.
She was carrying their first child, North West, at the time and opted for a high-neck floral print gown form Givenchy.

And while she loved it, some others didn't.
On the most recent episode of The Kardashians, Kim was seen preparing for the 2023 Met Gala, where she had 10-year-old North with her to critique her look (and her previous ones).
"I really don't like that one," North said of her mom's floral 2013 ensemble.
"Nobody liked that one," Scott Disick then weighed in - but Kim was adamant that she 'loved it'.

People online made several remarks about her colorful look at the time - Jumanji star Robin Williams included.
Sharing a photo of Kim on the night alongside a snap of his character Mrs Doubtfire wearing a similar floral dress, the late Robin wrote on what was then Twitter: "I think I wore it better!"
Reflecting on his remarks, Kim, 43, admitted that she cried at the time.

“I cried when Robin Williams roasted me and posted who wore it better - me and Mrs. Doubtfire," she said.
"I cried when I got home but now I love it."
Her 2013 outfit isn't the only one that North had things to say about; the youngster also ripped into her mom for her look for this year's Met as well.
For the affair, Kim sported a pearl ensemble and a skin-colored bodice.

During a fitting with Schiaparelli creative director Daniel Roseberry, Kim's eldest daughter said: "There's way too much gaps in the pearls. It looks like she's a Hawaiian girl with her dress all ripped."
She also said that the pearls looked fake, but Kim insisted that they were 'very expensive, real pearls'.
"I think you need a lesson on pearls," the 43-year-old Skims founder said.

"We're not going for flapper girl - we're going for vintage, authentic pearly girly."
Elsewhere in the episode, Kim noted that North has be pretty savage with her remarks and that she's trying to educate her to still tell the truth, but be kinder with the way she says it.
